Physics-Blue Flame EP (LAR-090)Physics make their Large Debut with more sexy late night house. "Blue Flame" opens with a rich bassline groove and great percussion before a great Latin guitar lick puts the track over the edge perfect for the late night crowds. The "Electric Flame Dub" gives the track a bit of an electro flavor, with some added analog synth lines joining that great guitar play, but still a late night groover for sure. On the reverse, "Downtown Rio" is a stellar Latin house excursion, as lengthy as it is wonderful, with superb percussion and a soulful Latin female vocal, backed in fine style by some great keys, sublime sax play, tight beats, and a grooving bassline. Physics and Large - a great combination.
